On 06 June 2008 or newest fishing vessel, "M/S Josberg" was delivered to Jostein and Berger Fredriksen in Lofoten.
She is the fourth of our smaller fishing vessels in aluminium and, measuring 49 feeet, the prototype of a fastgoing
fishing boat this size. The Norwegian Fishermen's Association highly recommends the boat.

The Norwegian Fishermen's Association is recommending the boat for the following reasons:
The concept makes an extremely successfull compromise between properties that are not easily combined. Good sea keeping properties, meaning high safety in bad weather, is combined with low weight which means low fuel costs and comfortable movements at sea. The boat is a stable working platform. Ergonomic layout of working space, positioning and layout of equipment reducing the need of lifting and other physical strain, makes work less strenous.
An exceptionally low level of noise, both on deck and inside, and no noticeable vibrations produce less stress. Waterborn heating in all flooring in the interior gives a comfortable and dry indoor climate in an environment that otherwise can be both damp and cold. A work deck protected against wind and draught on three sides, but at the same time open to light and sight, adds to a positive working environment. Cooling of cargo hold and a lifting system for longline containers is new for this type of fishing vessels.
