"M/S Johansen senior" which is our construction nr 157, was delivered to its owner,
John Bjørnar Johansen, Brattland 20.02.09

The boat has the same hull as "M/S Løven", but the arrangements on deck are a little different. She is rigged for drifting with nets and traps.
This type of boat is of a strong construction with solid keel and the same good sea keeping properties as traditional fishing boats.
In addition it's fastgoing. With a 425 hpVolvo it makes 17 knots with hydraulic crane, fishing net hauler, fishing net boom, fishing net straightener, anchorwinch and 20 hp hydraulic thruster mounted.
These boats are often tailor made for the customer.
The isolation is good and the interior is practical with high standard and good quality of work.
There is heating in all flooring both in wheelhouse/mess/galley, cabin and WC/bathroom.
These boats represent good and safe working environments, as there has been given priority to a low centre of gravity which gives good stability.
